The Levenshulme Project Youth Forum is a youth led organisation that lobbies, advocates, promotes and fights for the rights of young people. We believe that young people have an important role to play.

The Youth Forum exists to support young people to affect positive change for themselves and for their communities; we believe young people sound be invested in; can be part of the solution; want to be empowered and must be listened to. We believe that one person can make a difference; and that together we can achieve great things.

What does the Youth Forum do?

The Youth Forum has been involved in a range of activities, including:

• Carrying out research into what young people want from to do
• Debates about local, national and global youth, democracy and citizenship issues
• Organising local events
• Developing publicity to promote events and services for local young people
• Going on residential trips and international youth exchanges
• Attending conferences and events,
• Being part of the interview panels for employing staff
• Great opportunity meet new friends 
• Fun activity to do in the week.

Participation in the forum is good way of enhancing your CV and UCAS form.

It’s also a great way to get involved in volunteering in your own Community.
